Artist's Statement:

I see the world around me, as if it was through the lens of a camera. Pictures leap out at me, crying to be taken. I'm attracted by colors, shapes, sheer beauty, and whimsy. The challenge for me as a photographer is to accurately replicate the feeling I had when I took the photograph. I try to convey my feeling of awe, wonder, bemusement, and/or excitement with the subject matter and provide a perspective that attracts the audience's attention repeatedly. I take the same approach when photographing flowers, automobiles, landscapes, and objects that we see every day.
