Join Us on Saturday, August 18th, 2007, from 2 - 6 PM for

the Opening Reception of These Two Exhibits at Light Street Gallery.

In addition, please join us for a Reception in Honor of Bernard Scholl

on Sunday, September 9th, 1 - 5 PM, to meet this Very Talented Artist.


The Box Show, a group exhibit containing a variety of two and three dimensional artwork created by both veteran gallery artists and newcomers to the gallery.  The artists were asked to create artwork in any size that contained a box of some kind.  The exhibit includes artwork by Grif Bates, Danny Conant, Grace Taylor, Joyce Ellen Weinstein, Barbara Simpson, Rosetta DeBerardinis, Marga Hayes Ingram, Dave Montgomery, Chris Planinsek, and Karen Trimble as well as artwork by newcomers to the gallery including Michael Jones, Alyssa Block, Mary Beth Harry, Dennis Crayon, Laurel Hausler, Albert Schweitzer, Mark Planisek, Marilyn Banner, Sondra Arkin, Kim Reyes, Kevin Mellema, Veronica Nehemias, Gail Padgett, Gretchen Kircher, and Paul Vickers.

Concurrently, Light Street Gallery is delighted to present the Trompe L’oeil artwork of Bernard Scholl, a French artist who has won numerous awards for his remarkable artwork that deftly “tricks the eye” into seeing real depth in his paintings.  The exhibit will include twelve to fifteen pieces by Bernard Scholl, some original oils on board and some signed, limited edition giclee prints on board.

“The Light Street Gallery Box Show” and “The Trompe L’oeil Artwork of Bernard Scholl”, will be on exhibit from August 18th through October 6th, 2007.  The Opening Reception for both exhibits is Saturday, August 18th, 2-6 P.M.  In addition, there will be a reception in honor of Bernard Scholl on Sunday, September 9th, 1-5 P.M., to give gallery patrons an opportunity to meet this very talented artist.o:p>
